Sunspot AR 4459

Sunspot AR 4459 is a moderate-sized, magnetically complex active region currently visible on the Sun’s surface. It contains 16 visible spots and spans an area of 130 millionths of the solar hemisphere. This region has produced no significant flares so far and currently shows a 50% probability of C-class, 10% of M-class, and 1% of X-class flares. It is located at heliographic latitude N14°, Earth-facing longitude 22°, and Carrington longitude 33°.
